Since Uev1A-Ubc13 is the only known E2 complex to regulate K63-linked polyubiquitination leading to the AKT pathway activation in breast cancer [6], this study reveals a novel Uev1A/Ubc13-AKT-CT45A axis to promote breast cancer cell migration and EMT signaling (Fig. 8).
