The average fractional abundance of RASSF1A methylation was found to be significantly increased in PCa subgroups I (12.4%), II (29.8%), and III (78.1%) compared to the healthy controls (0.5%, p < 0.001) and BPH cohort (8.1%, p < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene RASSF1 and benign prostatic hyperplasia.
