The RIPMSI mutation was also significantly associated with poor prognosis in patients with stage III CRC and (i) hypermethylated MLH1 (sporadic forms), which represents the most frequent dMLH1 CRCs (p < 0.0001, Supplementary Figure S9A); (ii) harboring the BRAFV600E mutation (p = 0.0019, Supplementary Figure S9B) and (iii) older than 55 years (p < 0.0001, Supplementary Figure S9C). The gene discussed is MLH1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
