In this study, we observed increased levels of the active form of ADAM-10 in RT-R-MDA-MB-231 and CD24−/low/CD44+ cells compared to MDA-MB-231 cells (Figure 4C) and in tumor tissue from CD24−/low/CD44+ cell-injected mice (Figure 7D), suggesting that the augmented production of active ADAM-10 may be associated with the reduction in MICA/B levels in CSCs-rich RT-R-TNBC and the functional suppression of NK cells.
