In an effort to explore innovative selective treatments against HER2-positive breast cancer, and in continuation of our previous work on chalcone-based nitrogen analogs against TNBC, we herein point out that compounds DK-13 and -14 are promising therapeutic agents against certain types of breast cancer, since they induce JNK activation and significantly hinder the proliferation of breast cancer cells. The gene discussed is MAPK8; the disease is breast carcinoma.
