TNF and Alzheimer disease: Our results showed enhanced expression of p-NF-kB, TNF-α, and IL-1β in the brains of Aβ1–42-injected mice compared to the those of control mice; interestingly, these markers were significantly reduced in Aβ1–42 + Luteolin-treated mice brains, indicating the anti-inflammatory potential of Luteolin in AD.
