A recent study showed that a combination of interleukin-13 (IL-13), granulocyte-colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF), and granulocyte-macrophage-colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) induced CD11b+Gr1+ cells that migrated to allo-priming sites and robustly suppressed graft-versus-host disease when administered in animals [25]. This evidence concerns the gene CSF2 and graft versus host disease.
