To investigate the potency of PLA2G4A inhibition to treat human AML, representative MLL-AF9 recombined cell lines THP1 and MOLM13 as well as the blast phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) K562 control cell line were treated with IC50 levels of AACOCF3 previously determined on H9M cells. The gene discussed is PLA2G4A; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
