Expression levels of THADA (thyroid adenoma-associated protein), IGF2BP2 (insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA binding protein 2), CDKN2A (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A) and CDK5 (cyclin-dependent kinase 5) were upregulated, while levels of KCNQ1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily Q member 1) were downregulated in the peripheral blood of AML patients compared to normal subjects. The gene discussed is KCNQ1; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
