When grouped by Lp(a) tertiles, the third tertile of Lp(a) levels was associated with a 1.204-fold increased risk of myocardial revascularization compared to those in the 1st tertile of Lp(a) after adjusting for a variety of confounding variables [the adjusted OR (95% CI) = 1.204 (1.062, 1.365; P = 0.004)] including, age, gender, smoking, HDL, LDL, TG, SUA, Glucose, Creatinine, statin use, hypertension.
