CALR and acute myeloid leukemia: In acute myeloid leukemia (AML), researchers found that translocation of calreticulin and upregulation of HSP70 and HSP90 were not increased by treatment with the immunogenic cell death-inducing agents anthracycline, idarubicin or daunorubicin; however, they did find an increase in calreticulin exposure in AML blasts compared to healthy controls.
