ALB and Hypoalbuminemia: Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analysis showed that hypoalbuminemia was associated with both 28-day and 90-day mortality risks after full adjustment for confounding variables, with an adjusted hazard ratio (95% confidence interval) of 0.63 (0.50–0.80) and 0.63 (0.51–0.78), respectively for each 1 g/dL increase of albumin.
