We previously demonstrated significant elevations in TT, which was 53% higher in the autistic children than in the control children (p ≤ 0.05), and FT, which was 238% higher in the autistic children than in the control children (p ≤ 0.001) with no significant differences in SHBG levels (p = 0.66) between the autism group and the control group11. Here, SHBG is linked to autism.
