Among the top 30 genes found to be up-regulated between 181 and 250 d before diagnosis were SEPTIN4, GBP6, BATF2, ETV7, SERPING1, and FCGR1A, although these genes were also among the top up-regulated 30 genes at 0–31 d before diagnosis, albeit then at a more significant level (Data S3), suggesting a graded increase in the expression of these genes as progressors approached TB diagnosis, with some heterogeneity of gene expression over time. Here, FCGR1A is linked to tuberculosis.
