To investigate the underlying mechanism of miR-143-3p function in AD development as a downstream target of KIAA1429 and ALKBH5, we first examined its expression level in 25 pairs of aorta samples derived from donors and AD patients and found that miR-143-3p was significantly downregulated in tissues from AD patients (Figure 6A).
