This novel technology is the set of synergy between three main elements: the targets (antigens against the CAR will be directed and that, ideally, are required to be only expressed in malignant cells); chimeric receptors (whose sophistication allow to bind to said antigen and that are designed to provide better selectivity towards tumor cells, and properly, T cells (containing CD3 +/CD4 + and CD3 +/CD8 +, in an adequate proportion) that are genetically modified to express the CAR and guarantee the success of such therapy.
