Among the 9 Fzd genes, the mostly affected by MI were Fzd1, Fzd2 and Fzd5 that were increased in border and infarct at week1 by 5–7 fold (p < 0.05 vs. shams), 8–13 fold (p < 0.05 vs. shams) and 2–4 fold (p < 0.05 vs. shams), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene FZD2 and myocardial infarction.
