In addition, according to the previous literatures [33–35], NLRP3-mediated cell pyroptosis is closely associated with cisplatin-sensitivity, and this study evidenced that knockdown of miR-556-5p upregulated NLRP3, Gasdermin D, cleaved Caspase-1, IL-1β and IL-18 to trigger pyroptotic cell death in high-dose cisplatin treated CR-NSCLC cells (Figure 4(h,i)). This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
