The results of the KEGG enrichment analysis demonstrated that ECM-receptor interaction, focal adhesion, vascular smooth muscle contraction, proteoglycans in cancer, the cGMP-PKG signaling pathway, the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, regulation of the actin cytoskeleton, human papillomavirus infection, pathways in cancer, and several other associated KEGG biological pathways were significant to the progression of PCa (Figure 3D). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and cancer.
