CXCL13 serum levels were significantly increased in pSS patients with or without NHL (median: 72.02 pg/ml and 87.00 pg/ml, respectively) compared to sicca-complaining controls (30.23 pg/ml; p=0.011 and p=0.0008 for pSS patients without or with NHL, respectively) and healthy individuals (17.56 pg/ml; p=0.012 and p=0.001, respectively) (Figure 2A). The gene discussed is CXCL13; the disease is peeling skin syndrome.
