Interestingly, recent studies have demonstrated that a number of microRNAs (miRNAs), which function as major regulators of post‐transcriptional mRNA expression, can modulate Cpeb1 expression by interacting with the Cpeb1 3’UTR in glioma [17], during mammalian spermatogenesis [18], and in neurons [19]. This evidence concerns the gene CPEB1 and central nervous system cancer.
