These results suggest the participation of tBid, Bax, and caspases-8, -9 and -3 in the antineoplastic effect of Cas III-La on U373 MG glioma cells, as well as in the downregulation of Bcl-xL and the possible inhibition of Bcl-2 by its phosphorylation. This evidence concerns the gene BID and central nervous system cancer.
