Bravo et al. provided a chemical, physicochemical, and biological characterization of several Casiopeinas, including Cas III-La, and demonstrated that Cas III-La showed a more pronounced anti-proliferative activity than Cas III-ia and Cas II-gly on MCF-7 breast cancer cells, HCT-15 colorectal cancer cells, HeLa cervix cancer cells, and the SiHa squamous cervix cancer cell line. The gene discussed is CA3; the disease is breast carcinoma.
