Approximately 30%, 20%, 60%, 57%, 56%, and 55% COAD patients have had the similar promoter methylation levels of CXCL12, CXCL8, AGT, GNB1, GNG4, and CXCL1, respectively, as examined in case of the normal controls. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL1 and colon adenocarcinoma.
