Ultimately, the overall comparison between COAD and normal groups by applying the t-test revealed that CXCL12, CXCL8, AGT, GNB1, and GNG4) were significantly (p<0.05) hypermethylated while CXCL1 was significantly (p<0.05) hypomethylated in COAD samples relative to normal controls (Fig 11).
