During cervical carcinogenesis T‐helper(Th)‐17 cells, an IL‐17‐expressing subgroup of Th cells [16] with proinflammatory as well as tumor‐promoting properties in different cancer types [17, 18] increase in the blood of cervical cancer patients [19, 20], infiltrate in cervical cancer tissues [13, 21], and were correlated with poor prognosis for the patients [14, 21].
