The present study consistently revealed that serum level of PGLYRP2 was significantly correlated to renal function parameters like eGFR and 24-h urine protein in SLE patients, suggesting that the increased serum PGLYRP2 could be a predictor for renal dysfunction and a risk factor for the poor prognosis of SLE. The gene discussed is PGLYRP2; the disease is Abnormal renal physiology.
