HOXD4 and glioblastoma: Several reports have suggested that high expression of homeotic genes, including HOXA9 (Costa et al., 2010), HOXA13 (Duan et al., 2015), mesenchyme HOX2 (MEOX2) (Tachon et al., 2019), and HOXD4 (Zhao et al., 2017) is an indicator of poor prognosis in glioblastoma (GBM) patients.
