For this, we face the percentage of CD4+CD28null T-cells and the level of cytokines in the CHF patients and we found a significant positive correlation between all the studied cytokines (Spearman Rho test; p<0.05), less in the case of IL-10, IL-2 and IL-4 where we did not find a significant correlation but a very marked trend in the case of IL-2 and IL-4 (Figure 4A and Supplementary Figure 3A). This evidence concerns the gene IL4 and congestive heart failure.
