GPT and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease: Compared to those without NAFLD, patients with NAFLD were more likely to be male, and had higher body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), fasting blood glucose (FBG), HbA1c, serum uric acid, ALT, AST, GGT, FT3, total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) levels, yet lower levels of high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) (all P<0.05).
