For example, some up-regulated genes like cyp4a10 and cyp4a14, which are related to the formation of non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD), and rad51b, which is related to DNA repair, and some down-regulated genes like cyp17a1, which is involved in the synthesis of steroid hormones, and cyp2a4, which is involved in the metabolism of many drugs and compounds, made logical sense based on previous literature (Fig. 3). This evidence concerns the gene RAD51B and non-alcoholic fatty liver.
