ACE2 and COVID-19: Analysis of the ability of patient sera to inhibit the binding of RBD to ACE2 in a molecular interaction assay revealed that the ability of antibodies to inhibit the RBD binding to ACE2 was correlated with VNTs, confirming that antibodies against conformational RBD epitopes are predominantly responsible for the virus neutralization of the polyclonal antibody responses of COVID‐19 patients, and not antibodies to S2‐derived epitopes.
