AGR2 and neoplasm: Consistent with the involvement of AGR2 in cell growth and migration, a cDNA microarray analysis of these AGR2 stably overexpressing human MDAH 2774 ovarian cancer cells, revealed that AGR2 overexpression up-regulates the expression of genes involved in cell proliferation, invasion, and angiogenesis, which play a role in tumour progression and metastasis in EOC [49].
