It was shown that (S)-ethyl1-(3-(4-chlorophenoxy)-2-hydroxypropyl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxylate (SEC) can activate ANXA7 [51] while preventing the growth of PC cells through a blockade of the expression of several prometastatic genes (i.e., CCL2, APLN, and IL6ST) and the AMPK/mTORC1/STAT3 signaling pathway. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
