DDX56 and cancer: Interestingly, the KEGG terms “pathways in cancer” and “Wnt signaling pathway” were significantly enriched in predicted targets of upregulated miRNAs in DDX56 siRNA vs. control siRNA-transfected cells (Fig. 5 b), which implied that DDX56 may promote expression of Wnt signaling-related genes by repressing the subset of miRNAs.
