AGT and hypertensive disorder: Compared with the classical model of RAAS-driven hypertension based on Angiotensin-II (Ang-II) infusion with minipumps [16], the AAV-Ren/Ang method yielded consistently lower (20 mmHg vs. 40–60 mmHg) [17,18] and more sustained BP elevations, without the need for invasive surgical procedures and their possible complications.
