So far, simultaneous inhibition of CB1R and iNOS has been a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis [45], Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome, pulmonary fibrosis [49] liver fibrosis [34], obesity-related dyslipidemia [35], and chronic kidney disease [50], and the hybrid inhibitor featured in all these studies is in early clinical development.
