Old age, male sex, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, high systolic and diastolic blood pressures, high heart rate, high BMI, high baseline eGFR and high levels of fasting glucose, triglycerides, GOT, AFP and γ-GT, and low levels of uric acid, total cholesterol, hemoglobin, albumin, and total bilirubin were associated with an eGFR decline of ≥25%.
