In CIDP patients, IL-6 (10.18 ± 4.44 vs. 8.33 ± 2.65 pg/mL, p = 0.019), IL-2 (7.35 ± 0.83 vs. 6.54 ± 0.85 pg/mL, p = 0.0006) and IL-4 (7.98 ± 0.98 vs. 7.40 ± 1.33 pg/mL, p = 0.047), TNF-α (10.04 ± 11.12 vs. 9.99 ± 2.92 pg/mL, p = 0.009) levels were significantly increased (Table 3). Here, IL6 is linked to chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy.
