The MYD88 mutation has been found at high frequencies in cutaneous diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL; 69%), primary central nervous system lymphoma (38%), Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WM; almost 100% of cases) and activated B cell DLBCL (39%), indicating its role in the pathogenesis of lymphoid neoplasias [65,66]. The gene discussed is MYD88; the disease is diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
