In the obesity group, Spearman analysis evidenced a significant correlation between BMI and concentrations of creatinine, urea, cystatin C, GFR estimated by the Filler formula, microalbuminuria, and the number of decayed teeth D. The strongest correlation was revealed between BMI and concentration of uric acid (r = 0.737), and oral variables such as PCR and BOP (r = 0.539; r = 0.583). This evidence concerns the gene CST3 and obesity disorder.
