NPPB and hydrops fetalis: In the multivariate Cox analyses including all baseline variables with p < 0.05 by univariate analysis, D-dimer levels, GWTG-HF risk score, and NT-proBNP were independently associated with all-cause mortality when assessed as either continuous variables or variables categorized into two groups by the third tertile value in all patients, a subcohort of patients with HFpEF, and a subcohort of patients with HFrEF (all p < 0.001; Table 2 and Table 3).
