Our results also indicate that an increase in total fat intake, SFA and MUFA 10 g per day increase the probability of PCOS by 1.4-fold, 1.7-fold (2.3 after adjusting for age, BMI, CRP, LDL-C, GI, work/school PA, and leisure PA), and 2.5-fold (3.3-fold after adjusting for age, BMI, CRP, LDL-C, GI, work/school PA, and leisure PA), respectively. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and polycystic ovary syndrome.
