MMP8 and periodontitis: In the second place, the (t) MMP-8 crude model achieved a sensitivity of 60% and a specificity of 82% (at a cut-off point of 70.62 ng/mL), while the (a) MMP8-adjusted model was 63% sensitive and a 79% specific in discriminating periodontitis severity, with a cut-off point of 360.38 ng/mL (Figure 3).
