The staining intensity of GFAP, vimentin, Iba1 and AQP4 (Figure 4, Figure 5 and Figure 6) was significantly different between ROIs in the tumor mass, the peritumoral region and the contralateral healthy brain tissue (Kruskal–Wallis test, χ2(2) = 7.875, p = 0.019; χ2(2) = 15.005, p = 0.001, χ2(2) = 11.285, p = 0.004 and χ2(2) = 16.640, p < 0.001, respectively). The gene discussed is GFAP; the disease is neoplasm.
