Interestingly, lysosomal proteins such as cathepsin B (CTSB), lysosomal acid lipase (LIPA), dipeptidyl peptidase 2 (DPP), and glycosylated lysosomal membrane protein (GLMP), which are known to be involved in liver fibrosis, liver damage, and steatosis, were found to be differentially expressed. This evidence concerns the gene DPP7 and Hepatic fibrosis.
