Additionally, our results, in combination with data from Page et al. indicate that application of anti-CTLA-4 antibodies is likely not only to increase the number of infiltrating T cells in the tumor environment showed by their team, but also to reduce the proportion of unfavorable immunosuppressive populations of CTLA-4+ lymphocytes as demonstrated by change of lymphocytes phenotype in our study [11].
