To identify a distinct glycolysis gene signature in TNBC, we examined transcriptome levels of 42 glycolysis-related genes from a TCGA breast-invasive carcinoma (BRCA) dataset which were stratified by molecular subtypes, including normal (n = 36), luminal A (n = 499), luminal B (n = 197), HER2 (n = 78), and basal-like TNBC (n = 171) (Figure 1A). Here, ERBB2 is linked to invasive breast carcinoma.
