In oral cancer cells, based on bioinformatics methods, FTH1P3 (ferritin heavy-chain 1 pseudogene 3), GTF2IRD2P1 (GTF2I repeat domain-containing 2 pseudogene 1), and PDIA3P (disulfide isomerase family A, member 3 pseudogene) pseudogene transcripts were associated with oral pathogenesis and metastasis by interacting with their targets, MMP1 (matrix metallopeptidase 1), MMP3 (matrix metallopeptidase 3), MMP9 (matrix metallopeptidase 9), PLAU (plasminogen activator urokinase), and IL8 (interleukin 8) genes, involved in tumor cell proliferation, migration, and metastasis [29]. Here, GTF2IRD2P1 is linked to lip and oral cavity carcinoma.
