Although there is limited literature on the specific role of the CXCL5/CXCR2 axis in regulating G-MDSC in PDAC, G-MDSC was shown to be positively correlated with CXCL5 level in human renal cell cancer, and blockage of CXCR2 reduced tumor weight with increased effector T cell infiltration in a renal cell cancer mouse model [35]. Here, CXCL5 is linked to renal cell adenocarcinoma.
