Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a 100-kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein that is overexpressed in nearly all prostate cancers (PCa), and in particularly poorly differentiated and metastatic lesions, with only 5–10% of primary PCa lesions shown to be PSMA-negative [37]. The gene discussed is FOLH1; the disease is Familial prostate cancer.
