The pre-treatment sialylated carbohydrate antigen KL-6 (KL-6) level in the ILD group was significantly higher than that in the non-ILD group (p = 0.003), although there were no significant between-group differences in age, proportion of T-factor, prescribed dose, and pre-treatment respiratory functions including %VC and forced expiratory volume in one second. This evidence concerns the gene MUC1 and interstitial lung disease.
